2018 Senior Adult Job and Volunteer Fair

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce Senior Service Alliance (SSA) will be hosting the 2018 Job and Volunteer Fair for Frisco’s 55+ Senior Adults on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Job and Volunteer Fair will be held at Collin College - Preston Ridge Campus in the Conference Center at 9700 Wade Boulevard in Frisco. The Job and Volunteer Fair, open to senior adults age 55 and older, will feature over 80 exhibitor booths with a mix of employment and volunteer opportunities. “The Frisco Chamber of Commerce looks for ways to proactively meet the needs of the community– this is a great example of the Senior Services Alliance Committee connecting active seniors to the business community,” said Tony Felker, President/CEO of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. Last year over 200 attendees and participants attended the inaugural SSA Job and Volunteer Fair. “We hired a gentleman from the 2017 SSA Job Fair,” shared Stephanie Greer, Director of Sales and Marketing, Watermere at Frisco, an independent retirement complex. “This event provides a great opportunity to talk with active senior adults looking for job and volunteer opportunities.” Sponsorship and exhibitor table opportunities are still available.
