Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in the North Texas Region as determined by the North Texas Council of Governments.  With a 2000 census of 33,714, Frisco has grown 449 percent since the 1990 census population figure of 6,138.  As of February 1, 2008 Frisco's estimated residential population is 98,783.
