Frisco Chamber Golf Tournament

Event Description

The Frisco chamber golf tournament provides the opportunity for local businesses to build positive relationships within the business community and reward employees with a day out of the office. In addition to playing in the tournament, local businesses are participating as tent sponsors, banner sponsors, player gift bag donors, and volunteers. Events of the day include shooting golf balls from an air cannon, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin.

The tournament is named after former President of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Board and tournament founder, John Weinberg. For many years, Weinberg served as the tournament’s chairman. After his diagnosis with cancer, the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Board named the tournament in his honor. John’s wife, Sharon Weinberg, attends the tournament each year.

If you’re not a golfer but want to contribute to the success of our golf event, please consider these options: volunteering on the big day OR donating an item for the gift bags or as a raffle prize. Call (972) 335-9522 for details.

If you have questions regarding the planning and implementation of any of the events, please email Christi Wilson, Director of Events.
