Typing on laptop, close-up
As a reminder, early voting for the May General Election began on April 22, 2019, and we urge every registered voter to get out and vote…early! Surprisingly, voter turnout for municipal elections is usually low yet local elections impact our community the most. Please exercise your right to vote! To fulfill the Frisco Chamber of Commerce’s mission statement “to protect and promote commerce,” the Frisco Chamber’s Governmental Affairs division, along with the Board of Directors, takes a strong and pro-active stance on governmental issues. As the “Voice of Business” in Frisco and the surrounding area, it is our responsibility to keep our business community strong which in turn will strengthen our community as a whole. For this reason, on the May 4, 2019, ballot and we encourage you to vote yes (FOR) on each of these proposals. More information about the bond propositions can be found on our website at friscochamber.com/advocacy-efforts/. We also urge you to become an educated and informed voter. Resources for both Collin and Denton County voters, such as links to videos and candidates websites, early voting dates, times and polling locations, can also be found on that same webpage. As I always say, decisions are made by those who show up. See you at the polls!
