Four Things You Need to Know:
- Preparations are happening now for several projects associated with the PGA Headquarters and Fields development. In September, construction will begin on Legacy Drive from Rockhill Parkway to US 380. Additionally, construction will start on Rockhill Parkway of road and waterline from west of Legacy Drive to Mahard Parkway. In October, construction of North Teel Parkway from Rockhill Parkway to US 380 will begin, as well as construction of road and a waterline on Rockhill Parkway from Dakotah Road to North Teel Parkway. It is anticipated that construction of Rockhill Parkway and a waterline from North Teel Parkway to west of Legacy Drive will begin in December.
- Phase 1 of the design of the Downtown Street Improvements and Plaza will begin in October. This phase will focus on surveying, underground utility investigation, preliminary engineering, and establishment of a layout for the plaza.
- It was announced that new signals will be located at the intersections of Legacy Drive at Throne Hall Drive, FM 423 at Old Newman Drive, and west Stonebrook Parkway at Anthem Drive.
- Council has votes scheduled on September 17, 2019 at 6:30 PM to approve the budget, fee ordinance and set the tax rate.
