Election Information

On March 27, 2020, it was announced that Frisco’s general election scheduled for May will be postponed until November due to uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, coronavirus.

During a Special Called Meeting, the Frisco City Council voted unanimously to move the May 2 General Election to elect three council members (Mayor, plus Places 5 and 6) to November 3, 2020.  Candidate filings will remain valid and will not be reopened for the November election.

The postponement means the new, voter registration deadline will October 5, 2020, and early voting will start October 19, 2020, and run through October 30, 2020.
