Like everything in Frisco ISD, the Independent Study & Mentorship Program is growing! Approximately 465 students will have the opportunity to participate in ISM this year. The first event is the ever-popular, annual ISM Business Symposium. During this event, business professionals conduct one-on-one mock interviews with students to help them prepare for research interviews, their mentor search, and life after high school.
Because of the ISM Program's growth, there will be two different sessions.
ISM Business Symposium
Date: October 2, 2019
Location: Independence High School – 10555 Independence Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75035
Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Coffee and light continental breakfast will be served.)
Schools Involved: Frisco, Liberty, Reedy, Lebanon Trail, and Lone Star
Number of ISM Students: 233
Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM (Water and snacks will be served.)
Schools Involved: Centennial, Heritage, Independence, Memorial and Wakeland
Number of ISM Students: 233

Please fill out this form by September 20, 2019, so that Frisco ISD may be able to appropriately place all of their students. If you are willing to participate in both the morning and afternoon sessions, lunch will be provided during the break between sessions. More specific information about the day’s events will be sent closer to the time of the event.
